I'm having my crazy emotional feeling again:

I wanna travel the world. I wanna go backpacking, mountain climbing, trekking, river rafting, sky diving and go on road trips and just drive around and explore the world and explore everything crazy (well, though I may not have the guts, I still wanna give it a shot).

I wanna try the different cuisines of the world (same exclusion clause as above). (On this, I wanna try the famed cuisines of the different countries, in particular, I wanna try Krispy Kreme donuts. Full glazed would be good. I did a case study on them, and I still don't know what their donuts taste like!!!) I wanna experience the different cultures of the world. ( I think business studies make you wanna travel. I mean, hey! we study things like cross cultural relationships and all, how can we not wanna see in real life what the other culture really is?)

I wanna learn diving, wakeboarding, sailing, beach volleyball and basically anything that has to do with the sun, sand and the sea. Did I mention that I love the sun, sand and sea? I would love to pick up some sports and be a player for once instead of being a spectator or a couch potato. (Only problem is that I have majorly buttery fingers when it comes to balls and my eye, hand, racket, ball co-ordination is disastrous. Ah, but well, I still wanna play sports.)

Maybe I should set up a few fund to support all these. Anyone interested in donating to the "Joanne's travel and sports Fund"? It would go a long way in helping Joanne get some ball sense, see the world and open her eyes to different cultures. Interested applicants can leave a tag on my tagboard.

Also looking for adventurous travel partners who don't mind driving down the windy expressways of NZ, climbing the mountains in Nepal, checking out the Safaris in Africa and yada yada. Well, and since I'm a girl, I love my shopping trips to. Interested applicants can leave your mark on my tagboard too.

I think I've been watching too much Amazing Race.

I hope to be able to sit down and finally type out all the updates on my blog. haha.... Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to sit down and get my thoughts together.

Ah well... Anyway, MANGO sale is on!!! And, I'm going to shop shop shop... I wanna shop shop shop...

Whee... It's day 4 and I just returned from a shopping trip in Fuzhou. It's been an interesting 4 days, and we managed to see a lot of things fall in place. Hee... Probably blog more about each day when I get back home, but yuppers, it's been a great time especially as I'm able to get to know other people better. =)

Till then!!

Finally!! Just finished packing. Relented to my mum's pleas for me to bring a trolley bag. Gee... I prefer my old samsonite bag, but... ah well... my luggage isn't too heavy, so well, to make her happy, i decided to go with the trolley bag, which is 2kg heavier than my samsonite, doesn't allow me squeeze squeeze squeeze, is bulky, is practically bursting at it's seams, even though when the stuff was in my samsonite, i had lots more space to play around with. It's only saving grace is that it has wheels, meaning i can pull it along. Oh well, I shan't complain...

I'm off to EA tomorrow!!! Haha... It's going to be an early flight, yupyup... so see you all in a week's time!!! =)

Wheee... I'm back from church camp!! Haha.. Yupyup, it's been a very busy 2 weeks since I last updated with EA xchange preparation, clearing my tuitions (so that I can go for my trips). Haha... So, practically every night I haven't been reaching home earlier than 10pm. Plus, since I'm working, I can't really get anything done in the day. I'm officially tired out, but thank GOd that I'm not working these 2 days, so that I can gear up n rest for my EA trip. =)

Church camp was relaxing (as usual), but for the record, I slept very early during this camp. In bed by about 12 every night (the last night I crashed before 2am). Waking up in time for breakfast. It's an amazing feat!! Haha.. I had my fill of my dip dip satay (and, I managed to do it with just one drink!!! haha...) It was just fantabulous. Gosh... Even though the place isn't the nicest and newest of all, but the food's great! Had an interesting road trip around Malacca which we learnt that almost all roads would lead u back to bukit cina. Well, think about it, we passed that place about 5 times while searching for some other street!! haha... but, it was fun. To end it off with supper at some Newton circle like place which was practically empty ( we were the only table left) was even more amusing. And, to my dismay, Dunkin Donuts in Mahkota Parade is closed!!! =( Weird as it is, but I used to get my fill of donuts from Malacca for the last 2 years. Yes, I'll buy boxes of donuts back, just to eat them. Cos, well, Dunkin Donuts r out of Singapore (btw, they're looking for franchisees, so if any daring soul with the capital and a fantabulous marketing plan wanna venture into that, go contact them at their website.) and there isn't Krispy Kreme in Singapore, so the nearest to satisfy that craving would be to Malacca. Oh well... Looks like I just have to settle my cravings with the Taka basement donut stall.

Anyway, during this church camp, I learnt a lot from SSP about the technicalities of worship. Haha.. They really gave me a lot of encouragement and support and taught me lots of stuff. Felt so inexperienced to play like just on the spot, without practice, hahaa.. but they were really patient, teaching me step by step, tahaning my whinings and all... Thank you!! =)

Camp speaker: I went only for 2 msgs by Rev Tony Tan. The first and last. (First because I needed to see if there was a closing song which there wasn't, and the last cos there wasn't any youth programme.) For the rest of the time, was at the youth session by Rev Alvin. Very engaging speaker, had lots of games, fun and all. He really could connect with the youths, bringing a simple message across(not very deep and very cheem stuff), short and sweet, to the point, yet, hitting and hilighting the right points.

Kids: Gosh.. Sam (aka little Sam) is such a cutie!!! OMG.. He's learnt to walk and run. He's super sociable and he loves packing and unpacking stuff (preference for the latter though...) But, yup, anyway, he's super cute la... And Ps Alvin's 3 kids are also super cute!! haha... esp the 6 months old one. Aiyoh... the cutest little thing!! haha...

Okie... Photos coming up soon.. I hope... =)
