Sigh.. studying season.. so, you won't be hearing much from me.

Anyway... Went down to airport to study, and guess who I saw? J and S!! Haha.. and when I met them, it was just at the right time, cos the Starbucks girl chased me out of starbucks. Told me couldn't study there. Hee.. so, went to join them at coffee bean. Haha.. after that met Princess (or is it Miss Universe now?), Adriel, Deb, Sophie, Veen, Ben, Jake for Sakae Sushi. Heee.... I feel so guilty for eating that soft shell crab now. sigh.. then again, that always happens. Everytime I go Jap, I'll always sucumb to the temptation and order soft shell crab in the end, and then I'll start regretting for all the oil and high cholesterol crab I wolved down. Sigh.. so, here I am at gulty stage again..

Geez.. I feel like I'm growing fatter by the days. I feel like a lump of FAT!!! Sigh.. Oh well... I need to start exercising regularly and also to cut down on all those deep fried food and all those wonderfully tasteful food. LOL...

Anyway.. to all those who have finished exams...

Remember about a few weeks ago, I was writing that at our weekly tuesday meetings we went to some Vietnamese Cafe in Engine for lunch. Haha... And I was wondering about Vietnamese coffee? Haha.. was reading the Sunday Lifestyle today, and they had a write up about Vietnamese Coffee and in particular they featured the cafe that we went to (Trung Nguyen). Haha.. so here's some facts about Vietnamese Coffee:
  • Vietnam is the world's second-largest producer of coffee beans and they concentrate on Robusta beans. (Robusta beans and Arabica beans are the 2 top beans in demand in the world.
  • Robusta bean produces a more robust-tasting coffee with a higher caffeine content.
  • Vietnamese coffee is generally brewed thicker than average. (average: 15 to 20g of coffee and 55-75ml of water)
  • Vietnamese coffee tastes different because it is roasted differently and is often mixed with herbs and spices such as chicory.
  • Brewing of Vietnamese coffee takes time as the coffee drips through the traditional hat-shaped filter.

Yupyup... And, the steps to brewing Vietnamese Coffee (got the pictures below to accompany the steps...) are...

  1. Put 2 tsp (20g) of coffee into a filter. Shake gently and push filter press in place.
  2. Pour 20ml boiling water into the filter and after it is absorbed bu the coffee. pour another 55ml of water in.
  3. The coffee should be dripping into the cup. The entire brewing process takes about 5 to 6 minutes.

Oh... I forgot one very important thing!! Haha...

From today onwards, I get 24 points and I can do without the "P" plate!! Haha... I'm a full fledged driver!!! LOL... Yupyup!! It's been one year since I passed my driving!! I can finally drive at a more exciting speed, overtake cars as and when I want to, hog the fast lane on expressways and the list goes on... Haha.. Then again.. come to think of it, I don't think I'll be that reckless. Haha... I value my life... So, nope... I won't be an unreasonable, reckless driver who sounds the horn as and when I feel like. I'll be a good and courteous driver. (the TP should reward me man!! Sounds like some campaign that they have right? LOL)
Hee... Haven't taken down the "P" plate though... Haha.. Been too busy to get down to the car and take it down officially!! LOL.. But I will very soon!! Hee...

I love driving!!!

Can't wait for exams to be over, then can take the car out for a spin!! Hee.... *grin*

OM presentation tomorrow... Came back this morning from JYC (at BB/GB Sembawang campsite) and totally konked out.. LOL.. I'm getting really old!! haha.. Just half a night up and I'm so tired!! LOL.. Hee.. BUt, it was fun at JYC. To all the camp comm out there... You guys did a really great job!! Hee... Wish I could stay in longer.. But, sigh... Gotta do my presentation for tomorrow. Oh well...

I've got a Finance Quiz in 12 hours and I'm still not done studying for it!! This is bad...

Oh.. And did I ever tell you that I realise that my handwriting is getting from bad to worst!! Boy!! I was trying to copy some stuff that my Prof put on the screen (usually he'll print for us, but it was kind of a last minute thingy, so he flashed it instead), and he asked us to copy it down. It was quite a chunkful and he only gave us 5 minutes to copy it and solve it. So, there I was furiously copying it.. and lo and behold I kept writing the wrong letters... linking too many letters together and my handwriting went from writing to scribbles. "Rs" became just a stroke down, and I short cut everything I wrote!! And, yes, needless to say, I kept making mistakes... It's so not fluent. Geez.. Looks like typing reports has caused my handwriting to suffer... LOL... I hope that doesn't happen during exam... Haha.. 3 weeks to start doing my handwriting practice to get it to be fluent, neat, legible yet fast... LOL...

13 more days to the start of my exam and I'm not even started on preparation!!!
